About the Blogger: Marty Nott

I have been in the business world since graduating from Ithaca College in 1974.  For over 30 years of that time, I have worked in corporate strategy and communications – first as a generalist in marketing communications and eventually concentrating on public relations and corporate reputation.

Just as importantly, I am a native Upstate New Yorker, born and raised in Genesee County, and I have chosen to spend all but three years of my life here.  The other three years were an adventure with Compaq and HP in Houston, Texas, which was a career-maker for me…but eventually I returned to where my heart has resided all along.  Today, I live in the Rochester area and work from my home for DC-based O’Keeffe & Company (a 300Brand company).

The views I express on the Curmudgeon Stew blog do not necessarily reflect the opinions or values of 300Brand, O’Keeffe & Company, their owners, management, staff or clients.  It’s highly unlikely that they reflect the opinions of my partner in life and co-blogger at La Vida Gumbo, Nancy Somerville Korvin, if she even cares about my topics.  These thoughts and views are mine and mine alone. Thank you for your interest.
